I've Been Feeling Very Sick The Last Couple Days. Did

I've been feeling very sick the last couple days. Did some lab work and my ESR came back 54, and my WBC is within normal range. If the ESR indicates inflammation in the body, why are my WBCs normal. I should also say that I saw 3-4 small white spots on my tonsils, still waiting for strep results.
