I've Been Getting Some Stomach Pain It Comes In A

I've been getting some stomach pain it comes in a pulsetile fashion. When it hits I can't eat and laying down is uncomfortable, the pain gets worse. It usually only lasts for 1-2 days but it has been going on for almost a week now. It comes very infrequently about every 8-9 months. I did have a stroke about 5 years ago and was told its part of the recovery process. I never had until about 2 years ago.
