I've Been Having Alot Of Trouble With My Throat Feeling

I've been having alot of trouble with my throat feeling congested. I had pneumonia about 6 weeks ago, and I was recently diagnosed with acquired asthma and allergies, but neither my albuterol inhaler or nebulizer treatments help - they make things worse. I've tried Benedryl and other antihistimines but they don't help much either. I don't feel all that congested in the sinuses, and I don't know what to take. I am very sensitive to medications and am usually given children's medications at half-doses.
