I've Been Having Chest Pressure, Heart Burn, Chronic Coughing Especially

I've been having chest pressure, heart burn, chronic coughing especially when I'm lying down. I have no energy. There is no heart disease in my family. When I've gone to a doctor to be checked out I'm told it's asthma but I'm not so sure it's the correct diagnosis. Should I make yet ANOTHER visit to the ER to get someone who may detect something different?
