I've Been Having Chronic Neck Pain, Primarily On My Left

I've been having chronic neck pain, primarily on my left side of neck, it acts up primarily when sleeping. I'm also experiencing frequent tingling and numbing in my RIGHT arm. These symptoms have been going on for 8 or more months now and the numbing is getting more frequent and lasting longer through the day. An x-ray showed in have severe compression between C5 & 6, and C6 & 7. but they said that had nothing to do with the numbing of the right arm and that it should not be causing constant pain. are these symptoms of MS?
