I've Been Having Numbness On The Right Side Of My

I've been having numbness on the right side of my face. Had an MRI (with contrast) and it was normal. Is MS hereditary? I saw a post asking about numbness and the doctor mentioned MS. My paternal Uncle had it so I'm wondering if I need to mention this to my doctor?
