I've Been Having Pain In My Right Side Above The

I've been having pain in My right side above the waist line. I've had acute pain in the same area during a bowel movement. Is this a reason to see my doctor, or does this happen normally to people around my age. I am 59, and had a colonoscopy about 4 years ago. Thank you.
