I've Been Having Painful Sex For A Couple Months Now.

I've been having painful sex for a couple months now. It is most painful during entry. I've been tested for the big stds (chlamydia, hpv, hiv). I recently did a self exam on myself and found a hole inside my labia. It looks like a very deep cut which explains the pain during sex and the stinging while peeing. What could this be? I have set up an appointment with a gynecologist but would like to know a little bit about it before going in. There appears to be white stuff (not infection, it didn't move when touched with a q-tip) inside it.
