I've Been Having Really Bad Back Pain For 4weeks Now

I've been having really bad back pain for 4weeks now and its been getting worse i can't walk very far and it keeps me up at night i was wondering if i should go to hospital or wait 4 more weeks tell my doctor can tell but the pain is so bad i can't do much of anything...what should i do?
