I've Been Having Some Discomfort In My Lower Abdomen For

I've been having some discomfort in my lower abdomen for about 4-5 weeks now. My doctor checked me for a hernia a couple of weeks ago and said it was not a hernia and said to keep an eye on it. It has not gone away and I was wondering what it might be.
