I’ve Been Hurting From My Left Shoulder In The Back

I’ve been hurting from my left shoulder in the back and my whole left arm. My doctor gave me a cortisone shot 2 days ago but the pain is still there. Pain gets worse when I sit straight up without back support. When I walk around it gets really bad. What could it possibly be?
