I've Been On The Contraceptive Pill Since I Was 11

I've been on the contraceptive pill since I was 11 and I'm now 16 in the past week i haven't been taking it properly due to being on holidays and travelling and I've been bleeding through, I decided that I should just have my period due to the fact I may need a period anyways and I've had really badly heavy bleeding which I've never had. My partner and I are sexually active without a condom but we are both clean and have been checked for STDs I'm really worried what's going on
