I've Been Prescribed 10mg Of Propranolol Twice A Day For

I've been prescribed 10mg of propranolol twice a day for anxiety and heart palpitations. However I have asthma and use a reliever regularly and a steroid inhaler twice a day. I understand non-selective beta-blockers can affect asthma so I wanted to be sure it is safe before commencing this medication? Many thanks.
