I've Been Prescribed Doxycycline And Flagyl For Babesia. I Have

I've been prescribed doxycycline and flagyl for babesia. I have blood tested Lyme disease with babesia as a coinfection. Constant diarrhea and I've been told there is a way to space the Flagyl (on an empty stomach?) and then wait a certain amount of time to take the Doxycycline with food. Any truth to this? I've had constant diarrhea for two months now.
