I've Been Sick For Nearly A Week, Haven't Eaten Much

I've been sick for nearly a week, haven't eaten much and the cough has taken a turn for the worse since yesterday. I started taking cold medication (generic day/night quil) yesterday and today had light orange stool. Is that normal or something I should be worried about?
