I've been sick since April 25th. The first week I had a fever, felt achy, puffy eyes (the first day my eyes were sensitive to light, otherwise just swollen). The first Saturday I was really light-headed when I was outside in the heat.
The second week the fever was less and only sometimes, no longer achy, still had swollen eyes (particularly the right side). Week 2: Thursday & Friday in the morning I had a slightly sore throat. Friday went to the Dr. and got a throat swab. Saturday my throat was much worse, white spots, ears started hurting, swollen glands. Sunday went to the Dr. and got antibiotics.
Now today, Tuesday I still have a sore throat, white spots, my eyes are hardly swollen (only a little at night), sweaty in the mornings when I wake up, since the start of this sickness I have felt fatigued.
Today, Tuesday, the Dr. office got back to me and said my results for strep throat are negative.
Do I have mono? And should I go off the antibodies now (they were prescribed for 10 days)? I am normally a healthy individual. Thank-you for your help.
