Ive Been Suffering With Pains In My Stomach For The

Ive been suffering with pains in my stomach for the last week and half. The pain would mostly be in my lower right side but would travel into my lower back region. I have had an extreme loss of appetite and extreme nausea but have failed to get sick. I have been to the hospital and was send home after tests with a diagnosis of muscle spasm. I was also told it could be grumbling appendix and if it gets any worse to come back. Since I came home the pain has become more constant but could start around my belly button region and travel upwards as well as in my right side. Could this be my appendix?
