I've Been Taking FERIUM XT & FOLVITE TABLETS For Low

I've been taking FERIUM XT & FOLVITE TABLETS for low levels of ferritin for past 2 months.
During my recent blood checkup found that my ferritin levels are ok,but elevated levels of pottassium (5.6mg/dl) .Is that due to side effect of those medicines?
