Ive been taking PPI's for many years for Gerd. It works great. I tried to go off of them and use H2 Blocker. I didnt have much relief> My concern is of long term use of PPI's and kidney disease> I also have A hiedal hernia. I was wondering is surgery to repair hernia was worthwhile?
