I've Been To Two Different ENT Dr.s' For Sore Throat;

I've been to two different ENT dr.s' for sore throat; only this sore throat last weeks with no fever or streph symptoms.
The last ENT I saw wanted me to get an MRI. I said, 'why'?
He said the spine may be growing forward through the back wall of my larnx and causing irritation, redness, and pain.
I said, "How the hell would you treat that'?
He said possibly, very expensive surgery, but, let's not jump to conclusions.
What do you think?
