I've been told it's arthritis by civilian and VA Doctors. The pain is very bad, across the top of my foot in the plane of my ankles. Right where the foot connects to the shin area of the lower leg. Where the foot pivots up or down. It hurts when I get out of bed, starting the day. If I rest the legs and feet or sit, especially when I'm driving my car for a hour or more, and stop and get out, I can't move for a couple of minutes. Once I start being able to walk and get things circulating it gets better, but never good. My ankles, after being on my feet most of the day, are horribly swollen. The pain never goes away unless I get off my feet. In the morning my ankles are normal looking, there's pain but no swelling. My ankles look like a woman's, they are so small. I was checked for circulation 8 years ago and was told that was fine. The only way I can stay out of the hospital is to load up on supplements and herbs. I live with the pain, take no pain killers. Thanks for listening. Any answering will have to come tomorrow, Thursday. Ben.
