I've Been Using A 2% Glycolic Acid Cleanser For A

I've been using a 2% glycolic acid cleanser for a few weeks, and recently I noticed that I have pores and little pit marks on my cheeks which I have never seen before. I usually get blackheads on my T-zone and a few whiteheads now and again, but my cheeks have always been very smooth and problem-free. Are these random marks caused by the glycolic acid, and will they go away if I stop using it? Or does it have some other cause?
