I've Been Vomiting For The Past Week, However No Abdominal

I've been vomiting for the past week, however no abdominal pain. Just slight burning on chest , doctors did an xray and said if was fine, they gAve zantac and pantecta for 3 months , but why don't I have an appetite ? And why am I still, feeling nauseous ..also the up , it's been almost more than a week now ..help
