I've Got A Pimple Like Spot That Started Off As

I've got a pimple like spot that started off as a painful spot. Then after a couple of days it seems to have got better (less redness) but when looking closer in the mirror there's a hard like little white lump inside the pimple which I made look worse when rubbing it. What is it??
