I've Gotten Hit Repeatedly In The Same Spot On My

I've gotten hit repeatedly in the same spot on my shin when catching my daughters softball pitching. Recently I was hit again at 61 mph and the swelling and bruising is going away but there's a large knot on my shin that's very painful and burns even with my pants just laying up against it. I've been to the ER about a week ago and they said it was a contusion but I'm wondering if it's actually fractured with the knot there now
