I've Had GERD For Over 20 Years But For The

I've had GERD for over 20 years but for the last 2 months my 40 mg Nexium doesn't work like it use to even though I've started takin a second capsule in the evening. I seem to taste rubbing alcohol, have continual heartburn even though I've been on the recommend diet for that condition.
