I've Had IBS For 3 Years Since Getting An Infection

I've had IBS for 3 years since getting an infection in Africa. I've just had my gut microbiome tested with the British Gut project at Kings College, and I have a really high level of Acinetobacter Proteobacteria (24.3% of sample) - is this dangerous, and do I need to do something about it?
