I've Had A Bladder Infection For The Last Week. I

I've had a bladder infection for the last week. I was on a medication for 5 days but still having symptoms. Yesterday my doctor put me on ciprofloxacin 500 mg. I woke up with really bad leg cramps in the middle of the night...which is unusual. Could this be a side effect of the medicine? My legs have ached all day.
