I've Had A Cough Congestion Since December 27. Went To

I've had a cough congestion since December 27. Went to the doctor the end of that week, and they did a chest xray, diagnosed bronchitis, and gave me a Zpak and Tesslon pearls. Took all of that and cough was better but not gone. Still have a nagging cough not as congested as before, but still there. Now I have a pain below the left breast when I cough. I still take a cough syrup at night w/coedine, to help sleep at night. Any suggestions?
