I've Had A Head Cold For About A Week Now.

I've had a head cold for about a week now. I'm starting to get over it but yesterday when I woke up the back of my throat and my uvula where swollen and very sore. They have gotten a little better but my uvula is still slightly swollen, enough so that I can feel it on the back of my tongue and the tip (bottom) of it is white. Any ideas?
