I’ve Had A Low Grade Head Infection For A Week.

I’ve had a low grade head infection for a week. Includes scratchy throat, off and on ear pressure, cold sores on my lips. My main question is what to do about the cold sores, I’ve applied Abreva, Vaseline and neosporin at different times and on different days....to no avail! Any thoughts?
