I've Had A Quarter Size Lump On The Back Of

I've had a quarter size lump on the back of my neck at the hairline causing frequent headaches. The lump itself is not painful to the touch..I've had this lump for over 2 years..it has never gone away. My father passed away from Leukemia si there is cancer in my family history..should i be worried?
