Ive Had A Sore Throat For A Month On And

Ive had a sore throat for a month on and off. No cough fever or congestion. Now I have large red bumps on the back and sides of my tounge. Urgent care dr suspected sinus infection is the problem but didnt test for it just gave me amoxicillin wich hasnt helped. Been 3 days. What else could it be?
