I've Had A Sore Throats All Day And A Feeling

I've had a sore throats all day and a feeling of a lump in the back of my throat. Now there's a bad taste in my mouth, my right tonsil is bigger than my left, and there's a purple vein next to my tonsil. What do you think this is and should I go to the doctor?
