I've Had A Uti For Over A Week Now.. First

I've had a uti for over a week now.. First I had a 3 day course of trimethorpim and that didn't work, so now I'm on nitrofurantoin. I'm 4 days in to medication now and I feel much better but I'm still urinating all the time and I still have blood showing up on my urine test and a high s.g. Is this normal or will I have yo have a different antibiotic?
