I've Had Allergies For Over A Week, And Congested Cough

I've had allergies for over a week, and congested cough lately. I notice the back of my throat has white specks on it. Never seen that before! Usually, if sore throat (which I do not have), it's red. I had thrush ten years ago, but that shouldn't be it. Thanks.
