I've Had Discomfort On The Tip Of My Left Shoulder

I've had discomfort on the tip of my left shoulder blade for a little over a month; it feels like an abrasion (sort of like a "rug burn" but there is absolutely nothing outwardly visible. It's extremely irritating when sitting, especially when driving for a long period of time.
