I've Had One Fallopian Tube Removed During My Last C-section

I've had one Fallopian tube removed during my last c-section because of adhesions and excessive bleeding. My baby is now over a year, and I'm getting my second period after the surgery. My abdomen is extremely sore and my bleeding is heavier than I ever remember it being. My last period was 2months ago, and it was very light for only a couple days. Is this normal? What can I expect?
