I've had pain in my small intestine ( above the waist on the right side for several hours. I was told last week,after a breath test for bacteria in the small intestine that my number was 16 for bad bacteria, normal is 5. I am prepping for a Wed colonoscopy tomorrow. It started with an extremely sharp pain ( unable to stand straight) at noon. I took three antacids and it eventually subsided to a dull ache, pain under the right rib. I've had diarrhea for 4 weeks, hence the order for the colonoscopy . However the liquid stools have firmed slightly the past 30 hrs or so. I was going about 6 times all night, hence my internest thought it might be colitis detected only thru a colon biopsy. Unable,to reach my Dr till am. YYYY@YYYY
