I've Had Repeated Bouts Of Excessive Asthmatic Response To Viruses

I've had repeated bouts of excessive asthmatic response to viruses (3 times in last year) and just received blood test of elevated IGE level at 595. At one time was diagnosed with lupus and will be doing follow up with doctor with Cat scan, but am scared !! lol. Seems like a broad range of possibilities... do you think it's ok to wait til end of December for Cat scan or should I be contacting the pulmonologist i've just started seeing
