I've Had Sharp Abdominal Passions On My Left Side Since

I've had sharp abdominal passions on my left side since about 930am yesterday. Out was extremely painful, to the point of going to the hospital. After laying down in an awkward fetal position, the pain went away. Today, it's been off and on throughout the day. Sharp and uncomfortable.
