I've Had The Impalanon For Almost A Year Now And

I've had the impalanon for almost a year now and I'm experiencing a horrible vaginal odor that comes about once a month. I never had it before but it's quite pungent. I believe that it's because of the implant but it does go away it only lasts a few days. Is there anything I can eat that will help mask the odor? or something I can take? that's the only problem I've ever had with this.
