I've Recently Been On Some Really Strong Antibiotics, Given By

I've recently been on some really strong antibiotics, given by a doctor at a&e, not my gp.
since having them, the area around my vagina has been very itchy and sore. its causing me to lose sleep, and I'm starting to worry.
I've just come on my period too, so sanitary towels aren't really helping.
can antibiotics cause this? and is there any natural home remedies that would help?
