I've Recently Had Sex With My Partner About A Week

I've recently had sex with my partner about a week ago. The next day I had a terrible pain when I was almost done urinating. Also the day after that I started my period. During sex he hurt my urethra by accident. I went to the bathroom a little after so I know he may have scratched it pretty bad when using his fingers.and I urinated strongly so it may not be a uti if i urinated to flush out the bacteria. I dont have to constantly urinate but when i do there is a strange pressure. I am not bleeding and always empty my bladder fully. I am 19 years old and he is my first partner. I feel like it may be because he damaged my urethral opening. Will it go down on its own? What should I do?
