I've Went Blind In My Right Eye In The Last

I've went blind in my right eye in the last year (didn't even need glasses before that) my eye Doctor told me it was from taking the high blood pressure medicine (Amlodipine) before going to bed and I can find nothing about it on line does this make since to you? THANKS
