I've Woke Up Twice Suddenly With Extreme Sharp Pain In

I've woke up twice suddenly with extreme sharp pain in upper abdomen. At the same time my mouth starts extreme salivating almost like I'm drooling. I have a sudden urge to throw up or have a bowle movement. The pain is sudden, sharp, but no nauseous. I've also experienced sine bleeding after bowel movement bright red and it looks like it is inside the bowel movement. I do have a Dr. Appt. But would like to know if I can wait the couple days till it or is this more serious?
