Just A Half Hour Ago A Large Lump Suddenly Popped

Just a half hour ago a large lump suddenly popped out in the front part of my right knee. It's the size around of a ping pong ball. It doesn't hurt just looks very strange. Is this my absorbed twin trying to get out? j/k But seriously, what could it be? It feels like a big lump of gel.
