Just burnt an electrical wire (not plugged in) on a gas hob. House smelled bad and felt dizzy but took about ten mins to locate source of problem. Turned the gas off and opened all windows but the room was really smokey after and want to make sure that the fumes aren't harmful to baby - am eight months pregnant...
