Just Found Out I Had Dvt In Right Leg And

Just found out I had dvt in right leg and 3 pe's bi lateral. They admitted me to hospital overnight and let me go. Just today I noticed some pain/tenderness in my right arm and some red streaks. They poked me a bunch in the hospital in both arms. But my right had some sort of iv valve they left in so they could draw blood and give me morphine. they let me take a shower with a plastic patch over the valve but it came untapped in the shower. could this be blood poisoning showing up
