Just Got Results That Show I Have An AST Level

Just got results that show I have an AST level of 110, and a ALT level of 86. Triglycerides is at 211, and LDL cholesterol is at 148. I have been taking cholesterol medicine on and off for the past couple years, and the Dr told me with my enzyme/cholesterol level being high it could be because of fatty tissue. She wants me to get back on cholesterol medicine but won't that effect my liver more? I'm a 30 year old female with PCOS and overweight. What do I do?
